When it comes to celebrating a special event, Carlson Craft offers plenty of options to choose from in order to truly reflect individual tastes and styles. Many of our products offer a choice of printing techniques, imprint colors, wording, and lettering styles. Finishing touches such as envelope lining, ribbons, and other embellishments allow you to share your special news exactly the way you want to! Printing Technique There are a variety of printing techniques available from Carlson Craft, each offering its own special touch on the essence of the event being celebrated. While thermography and flat printing are most commonly used, consider how engraving and embossing provide an element of classic elegance for more formal affairs. Foil imprint is another option when a bit of shine is wanted. Keep the printing technique options in mind as you think about how formal your event will be and how you want to express that through your choice of printing technique. Imprint Color Your choice of imprint color can create a theme or enhance another. Create an impact with bright, vibrant, and often trendy colors; soothe the senses with soft, muted colors; or go classic with black. Color selection plays a big part in setting the mood of a special event. Lettering Style The lettering style you choose – whether elegant script, simple block print, or even a combination of the two – plays a significant role in setting and supporting the mood of an event. We have many styles to choose from. Wording A great deal can be told about the style and formality level of an event by the wording that is chosen for the invitation. Words that are time-honored and customary lend a formal feel (e.g., "Mr. and Mrs. John Doe request the honour of your presence..."), while trendier wording offers a more casual vibe (e.g., "He whispered, 'Will you marry me?' She shouted, 'Yes!'"). You have the option to choose one of our prewritten verses or to create your own wording during the personalization stage of ordering. Envelope Liners Add a complementary splash of color to the inside of your envelopes with envelope liners. Liners are one of the first things the recipient will notice as they open the envelope to reveal a coordinating invitation inside. Embellishments Many of our invitation ensembles include layered pieces, are adorned with ribbon, or include some other type of embellishment to accent the design. Some embellishments are available sold separately, so feel free to incorporate your own inspirations to create an ensemble that truly reflects your style. For example, an elegant ribbon creates a charming effect when wrapped around your invitation ensemble and tied to hold the layered pieces together. Design Cuts Complement – or even create – a theme and style with the design of your choice printed on multiple pieces of your celebration ensemble. Carry the design to napkins and other personalized accessories for flawless continuity. Program Wording A program plays an important part in any big event, especially a wedding. A wedding program can serve many purposes including carrying the wedding theme, introducing the wedding party, honoring individuals who are especially important to the couple, explaining certain traditions or rituals that may be included in the wedding, and letting guests know what's next on the ceremony agenda. Programs are available in a variety of styles from the classic booklet to fan-style with personalized wording that may be as traditional or contemporary as you wish. Items are portrayed as accurately as possible in these previews. Actual size, color, and imprint may vary slightly. If necessary, wording will be adjusted to fit the available print area properly. Please examine your online preview carefully. When you submit your order, you are confirming that you have proofed your entire order, verified your personalization and information, and authorize printing. In addition to these online previews, we offer printed proofs of invitations, save the dates, enclosure cards, and many other items. While online previews are free, there is a nominal charge for printed proofs. |
